the steam outlet nozzle (4) must be rinsed and
thoroughly dried as indicated in the CLEANING
AND MAINTENANCE section of this manual.
• Never immerse the device and adaptor (7) in
water or any other liquids or place them under
running water. Do not touch the device with
wet or damp hands and never use it with bare
or wet feet.
• Do not touch the device if it is accidentally
dropped into water; disconnect the power sup-
ply, lowering the lever of your central fuse box
and disconnect the adaptor (7) from the mains
socket before touching the device. Do not use
the device later, and contact technically trained
personnel, your dealer or Artsana S.p.A. only.
• This device does not contain user-serviceable
or reusable parts and can only be opened with
special tools. If the device is faulty and/or not
working correctly, switch it off by disconnecting
the adaptor (7) from the mains socket and then
the connector from the socket (3) on the prod-
uct. Do not tamper with the device and contact
technically trained personnel, your dealer or
Artsana S.p.A. only.

vided in this instruction manual, please contact

• In case the device is sold by the original owner
or given to third party users, instructions for the
safe use of the device must be handed over to
them, and they must have understood the haz-

WARNING:
For best results, place the device at a height of at least 70 -100 cm from the floor.
When using any electrical device, it is necessary to follow a few basic safety rules:
- Do not cover the device while it is operating.
- Keep the device and the mains adaptor (7) and its power cord away from heat sources.
- Do not leave the device switched on unnecessarily as it is a potential source of danger.
- The device should not be operated by means of an external timer or by means of a separate
remote control.
• To avoid the risk of fire, do not pass the adaptor power cord (7) under rugs or near radiators,
stoves and heaters.
• Never touch the transducer with hands or tools.
• Never place the device directly on or near hot surfaces, hobs or hotplates, or on delicate surfaces
and/or equipment, materials and surfaces that may be sensitive to steam and heat.
• Make sure the steam outlet nozzle (4) is not pointing at furniture, curtains, shelves, electrical
equipment or objects sensitive to water and/or moisture.
• Do not put hot or boiling water or demineralised water in the water tank (5).
• It is inadvisable to use power strips and/or extension cables. If their use becomes necessary, only
use power strips and/or extensions that comply with current safety standards, taking care not to
exceed the power limit indicated on the power strip and/or extension.
• Do not use accessories, spare parts or components not provided/supplied by the manufacturer.
• Do not leave water in the humidifier in extreme temperatures (<5 °C).
• Do not move or lift the nebuliser unit (6) when it is operating.
