Data storage location
The ' NC-View™ Data Folder' refers to the location were .cm files are stored. The default folder is the Public
folder on the local drive, allowing all users to access the same data.

File Types
A detailed description of each file type is listed below.
Image files (*.cm)
Image files produced by NC-View™ hold all primary analysis data (sample ID, Fluorescent Images, Counting
data matrix, acquisition setting, instrument ID, user ID and other meta data). These files use a
ChemoMetec® proprietary file format with the .cm-extension and are named based on date and data
recording sequence.
It is not possible to overwrite image files within the NC-View™ system. Image files are stored in the 'NC-
View™ Data Folder', in a directory named: (yyyymmdd), according to the date settings on the PC or tablet
controlling the NC-202™.
The sample ID can be changed by right clicking a data point and selecting ‘Change Sample ID’. The sample
ID change will be registered in the Audit Trail log. The original ID will be stored in the .cm file.
Different sample ID editing rights exists between users (see table 1).
