Ham, Brie, and Fig Tartine
Tartine is just a fancy way of saying open-faced sandwich, but
the delicious mix of ingredients here deserve the elevated title.
Feel free to play around with the idea, substituting, say, peach
preserves for the jam or featuring blue cheese instead of brie.
1. Brush one side of the bread with oil.
2. Set the Food Mover™ to DIY at 400˚F for 8 minutes.
3. Place the bread all the way into unit and cook until golden
brown. Press Eject to remove from unit. Top each with the
fig jam, the brie, and then the ham.
4. Transfer the tartines to the Food Mover™ cooking pan and
place half of the cooking pan in the unit and half on the en-
trance door. Set the Food Mover™ to DIY at 400˚F for
8 minutes. Cook until the cheese is melty.
5. Meanwhile, in a small bowl, mix 1 tsp oil with the vinegar, salt,
and pepper. Top the tartines with the arugula, drizzle with
the vinaigrette, and serve.
