INFORMATION CONCERNING REPLACEMENTS

For this operation, proceed as outlined below.
1) Move the lever (
E
) to lift the wheel in order to slack-
en off the chain.
2) Loosen the knobs (

).
3) Remove the casing (

).
4) Loosen the knobs (
C
).
5) Remove the casing (
D
).
6) Move the tensioner (
F
) and remove the chain (

).
CAUTION
The tensioner could move unexpectedly, causing in-
jury to the hands.
Proceed with the utmost caution.
7) Unscrew the screw (

) and remove the pinion (
M
).
8) From the range of pinions (
H
), select the most suita-
ble pinion to obtain the required plant spacing (see
page 22)..
9) Fit the new pinion and tighten the screw (
L
).
10) Fit the new chain on the pinions and on the chain
tensioners.
11) Fit the casing (
D
).
12) Tighten the knobs (
C
).
13) Fit the casing (
B
).
14) Tighten the knobs (
A
).
Repeat the same procedure to replace the pinion on the
other driving wheel.

Safety advice in case of replacements
When replacing worn or damaged parts, original
spares must always be used.
Special maintenance operations (non included in
this handbook) require a specialised workshop on
the premises which meets the requirements speci-
fied by the relative laws in force (appropriate equip-
ment suitably trained
staff etc.); if you do not have a
compliant workshop, contact an authorised one.
