Adjusting the small wheel load
Adjusting the planting unit load
Proceed as outlined below.
- Turn the knob (
A
) clockwise to increase the small
wheel (
B
) load on the ground.
- Turn the knob anticlockwise to decrease the load of
the small wheel on the ground.
The adjustment unit is usually mounted in position
(
A2
).
With the unit (
A
) in position (
A1
) the weight on the pack-
ing wheels can be reduced.
With the unit (
A
) in position (
A2
) the weight on the pack-
ing wheels can be increased.
12) Tighten the screw (

).
13) Position the other seedling holder in the same way.
Repeat the same procedure to replace the ploughshares
of the other transplanting units.
The unit (
B
) enables to increase or decrease the weight
applied by the unit (
A
) to the packing wheels.
The weight (load) to be applied to the packing wheels
is obtained by the combined action of the adjustment
units (
A
) and (
B
).
Proceed as outlined below.
1) As regards the position of the adjustment unit (

turn the handwheel (
