Adjusting the opening of the cup
Adjusting the dispensing / ejection timing
When the plant falls into the ploughshare ( C ), the ejector
(
B
) should be in the rear position and should then start
pushing the plant to eject it.
Adjust the correct phase between the dispensing unit
and the ejector according to the different planting
speeds.
For this operation, proceed as outlined below.
1) Remove the plug (
A ).
2) Remove the lid (
D
).
3) Loosen the screws ( E ).
4) Turn the dispenser clockwise to speed up the ejec-
tor’s pushing action or rotate the dispenser anticlock-
wise to delay the pushing action. The notches on the
dispenser allow accurate timing adjustment.
5) Tighten the screws (
E
).
6) Place the lid ( D ) on the dispensing unit.
7) Insert the plug (
A
).
Rotating the distributor also corrects the cup opening
with respect to the drop tube.
If the distributor is not rotated enough to align the cup
opening with the drop tube, adjust the position of the
cams (see "Adjusting the cup opening stage").
The opening can be adjusted if the work vehicle is
equipped with a dispensing unit with cups that can be
opened.
For this operation, proceed as outlined below.
1) Loosen the screws (

).
2) Turn the cam (
B
). The cup must reach maximum
opening approximately at the centre of the hopper
(

).
3) Tighten the screws (
A
).
NOTICE
After the adjustment check the correct timing be-
tween the dispensing unit and the ejector (see “Ad-
justing the dispensing / ejection timing”).
