Switch off the unit to replace the batteries. To remove
the batteries from the
VC431
, open the battery
compartment, press the battery against the spring and
pull up on it, holding the battery by the positive pole, as
shown in the figure.
The
VC431
can also be powered through the mini B
USB port.
One option is to use the PC as a power supply. To do
so, connect, using the
CN1US
cable, the USB port of the
VC431
to a USB port on a PC. On connecting it,
will appear instead of the battery symbol.
Another option is to use the
AM300
mains transformer.
This transformer is connected to the mains and has a USB port to connect the
CN1US
cable
to power the vibrometer. To use this option contact an official
retailer.
RECOMMENDATIONS
:
if you do not intend to use the
VC431
for a long period of time, remove the batteries from the
VC431
to avoid possible damage caused by battery loss. It is advisable to always carry
spare batteries
.
2.1.3 Powering the accelerometer on and off
The
VC431
vibrometer operates with the following triaxial accelerometers
:
Triaxial accelerometer AC031 for the Hand-arm application
Triaxial accelerometer AC032 for the Buildings and Structure applications
Triaxial accelerometer AC033 for the Whole body application
If you do not have the right accelerometer contact your official
retailer.
