CESSNA INSPECTION PROGRAMS
In lieu
of the 100 hour
and annual inspection requirements, an
airplane may be inspected in accordance with
a
Progressive
Care
(Inspection Program
or
a
Phase
Card Inspection Program.
Both
—
-
programs
offer
systems
which allow the work load
to
be divided into
smaller
operations
that can be accomplished in shorter time
periods.
The
Cessna
Progressive
Care
Inspection Program allows an
airplane
to
be
inspected
and
maintained in four operations. The
four
operations are
recycled
each 200 hours and
are recorded
in
a
specially provided Aircraft Inspection Log as each operation is
conducted.
|
The Phase
Card Inspection Program
offers a
parallel
system
for
high-utilization
flight
operations (approximately 600 flight
hours per
year).
This
system
utilizes
50
hour intervals
(Phase 1
and Phase
2)
to
inspect high-usage
systems
and
components. At 12
months or
600
flight
hours,
whichever occurs
first,
the
airplane
undergoes
a
complete
(Phase 3)
inspection.
Regardless
of
the inspection method
selected, the
owner
should
keep in
mind that FAR
Part 43 and
FAR
Part
91
establishes
the
requirement
that
properly
certified
agencies
or
personnel
accomplish all
required
FAA
inspections
and most
of
the
manufacturer
.recommended
inspections.
CESSNA CUSTOMER
CARE PROGRAM
Specific
benefits
and
provisions
of
the
Cessna Warranty plus
other
important
benefits
for you
are
contained in your
Customer
I
Care Program
Handbook
supplied
with your
airplane. The
Customer
Care Program
Handbook should be
thoroughly
reviewed
and kept
in the
airplane
at
all times.
You
will also
want to
return
to
your Cessna
Service
Station
either
at 50
hours
for your first
Progressive
Care
Operation, or
at
100
hours
for
your first 100 hour
inspection depending on which
program
you
choose
to
establish
for your airplane.
While these
important
inspections will
be
performed
for you
by any Cessna
Service
Station,
in
most
cases
you
will prefer
to
have the Cessna
Service Station
from
whom you purchased the airplane
accomplish
this work.
