1.2 Correct use
The towed, single-axle spreader SW 200 / 300
is intended for the spreading of various types of
material on courtyards, footpaths, roads, car parks,
parks, cemeteries, meadows, fields, in front of
schools, hospitals, tram and train stops, for private or
professional purposes. It can, for example, be hitched
to small tractors or other suitable towing vehicles.
Operating temperature range: - 20 °C to + 40 °C

Important!
The maximum permitted speed is 6 km/h.
You must comply with the maximum
permitted unbraked trailer load of your
towing vehicle.
Correct use concerns, for example, the following
spreading material (max. grain size: 5 mm):
• Salt
• Sand (dry)
• Grit
• Mineral fertilisers
1.2.1 Summary
The equipment is not intended for any
other purpose!
For safety reasons, it is not allowed to make modi-
fications to the spreader. Designated use also
includes compliance with all information in these
operating instructions.

• Transport and spreading of material other than
that stipulated under Correct use.
• Transport of livestock.
• Exceeding the permitted top speed of 6 km/h.
• Exceeding the permitted load.
• Exceeding the maximum permitted unbraked
trailer load of the towing vehicle.
2. Identification
2.1 Name plate
The name plate serves for precise identification
of the spreader. Like the safety pictograms, it is
located on the hopper facing in the direction of the
drawbar.
This information must be provided when making
contact with the manufacturer.
2.1 Holder
Label the trailer on the left-hand side with the
first name, last name and address (company and
registered office) of the operator in permanent ink.

(see section 11, items 1-22).
