Installation and operation
CF-12.4 E-TR, delta-wye reverse switch (S-D-W)

• Turn the delta-wye reverse switch left, back to
0
(center position).
The saw blade and thus the motor are slowly running
down.
• Observe the rotational sense of saw blade and motor.
The rotational sense of the saw blade must corre-
spond to the direction indicated by the arrow on the
blade guard (refer to section 4.2.3).
The rotational sense of the ventilator wing must
correspond to the arrow on the ventilator cover
(fig. 4.13).
• When the rotational senses match, the motor can be
“started through”.
Turn the delta-wye reverse switch (fig. 4.13 and 4.14)
again right to position

• Wait until the motor has reached the final number of
revolutions.
Turn the delta-wye reverse switch further to the left
(starting through) to
Δ
(fig. 4.14).
ATTENTION!
If the motor or the saw blade respectively
turns against the arrow directions, turn
(start through) the delta-wye reverse switch in the
opposite direction.
ATTENTION!
Charge the saw blade and thus the motor
only when the switch in
Δ
position.
4.6.2 Stopping the CF-12.4 E-TR motor /
emergency stop
• Raise the diamond saw blade by means of the hand
crank out of the cut.
• Turn the delta-wye reverse switch (fig. 4.13 and 4.14)
back to left, to
0
(center position).
• Press the emergency stop button (refer to
page 4-10).
The saw blade and thus the motor are slowly running
down.
Emergency stop button
There is an emergency stop switch at the joint cutter’s
control box that allows to stop the joint cutter quickly in
case of danger (fig. 4.13).
• If necessary, press the emergency stop button.
After using the emergency stop button switch it to the
right in its home position.
• Clear the reason for having released the emergency
and turn the delta-wye reverse switch fig. 4.13 and
4.14) for a re-start back in the center position

4.7
Adjusting the cutting depth
The cutting shaft or the diamond saw blade respective-
ly are steplessly lowered and raised by means of the
hand crank with trapezoid threaded spindle at the CF-
12.4 E-TR-push handle carrier (as per section 4.2.2).
The adjusted cutting depth can be read off the cutting
depth indicator (fig. 4.10).
