SMP-WEB SERIES

USER MANUAL

7-3 System Maintenance

You  can  update  new  firmware  of  SMP  in  the  “

System 

Maintenance

” page. We suggest you update the firmware 

when your PC and player are in the same LAN. 

You  can  restart  or  shut  down  the  system  by  clicking  the 
corresponding button at the end of the page.

7-3-1 Upload Firmware

1. Login SMP Web Manager. Click [

SYSTEM

] and switch to 

“

MAINTENANCE

” page.

2. Click [

Browse

] and select a file; then click [

Upload

]. The 

extension of a firmware file is “.psu” or “.fsu”. 

3. After successfully uploading, the system will re-start. The 

system will inform you the uploading status after uploading. 

If you fail to upload the firmware, please make sure that the 
firmware is used for this model and version of media player.

 

7-3-2 Restart/Shutdown System

You  can  restart  or  shut  down  the  system  by  clicking  the 
corresponding button here.

Please only upload firmware 
provided by CAYIN. Do not 

upload  unknown  firmware 
and damage the system. 

After uploading the firmware 

or patch files, you may see 

an incomplete  Web Manager 
UI  page  due  to  browser 

cache issue. Please press 

Ctrl + F5

 to refresh the web 

page.
