Monitor the appliance regularly. Do not place any objects on

If an extension cord is necessary, ensure the connection is
watertight and dust proof. A cord with a proper rating should
be used. A cord rated for less amperes or watts than the appli-
ance rating may overheat. Care should be taken to arrange the
cord so that it will not be tripped over or pulled.

Do not use this unit outdoors. This unit is for indoor
use only. The electrical adaptor is only to be used with the unit

Four C/LR14 batteries (not included) can be inserted to
provide power to the feeder in case of a network power failure
or blackout:
• This appliance has no battery charging function.
Rechargeable batteries must be removed from the appli-
ance before being charged.
• Do not attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batteries
• Do not mix new and used or different types of batteries
• Always insert batteries according to the correct polarity
• Used batteries must be removed from the appliance and
safely disposed of in line with the “RECYCLING” section
• Batteries must be removed if the appliance is not in use
for a long period of time
• Do not short circuit the supply terminals.

S’assurer que l’appareil est placé sur une surface plane et de
niveau. L’examiner régulièrement. Ne pas déposer d’objets sur
le dessus du distributeur.

Si une rallonge électrique est nécessaire, vérifier que le
raccordement est étanche à l’eau et à la poussière. Utiliser une
rallonge d’un calibre suffisant. Un cordon d’alimentation de
moins d’ampères ou de watts que l’appareil peut surchauffer.
Des précautions doivent être prises afin d’éviter qu’on tire la
rallonge ou qu’on trébuche sur celle-ci.

pour alimenter le distributeur en cas de panne de réseau ou

• Cet appareil ne recharge pas les piles. Les piles
