Replacing the Solenoid Coil Set
[NOTE]
When proceeding to the correction of solenoid coil, be
sure not to damage the copper disk plate.
The work stated in this section should be carried out by two persons.
REMOVAL
1. Detach the frame cover.
(See [D-1: Removing the Frame Covers].)
2. Loosen the adjust screw of the V-belt tension pulley and move
the V-belt tension pulley to loosen the V-belt. (Fig. 1)
3. Detach the 3P connector at the power supply board. (Fig. 2)
4. Cut the cable holder which fixes the solenoid coil cable to the
frame.
5. Remove four screws which fix the solenoid coil. (Fig. 3)
Screw lock paint has been applied to these screws.
6. Detach two solenoid coil fixing plates to detach the solenoid
coil. (Fig. 3)
ASSEMBLE
1. Assemble the solenoid coil to the solenoid coil mounting base,
and provisionally fix the solenoid coil by using two solenoid coil
fixing plates and four screws. (Fig. 3)
The screws should be kept loosened to allow the solenoid coil
to move. Also, note that the four screws should be tightened
evenly.
2. Adjust the position of the solenoid coil as stated below.
A. Move and adjust the solenoid coil so that it will not contact
the copper disk plate. (Figs. 4 and 5)
B. Give the copper disk plate a full rotation. If it does not
contact the solenoid coil (core slit) at any portion, this
completes the adjustment.
3. Evenly tighten the four screws to firmly fix the solenoid coil.
(Fig. 3)
[NOTE] Be sure to tighten the four screws evenly, as otherwise
the position of the solenoid coil may be shifted.
4. Apply screw lock paint to the four screws. (Fig. 3)
5. By using a cable holder, fix the solenoid coil cable to the frame
together with the CDC sensor cable. (Fig. 6)
6. Adjust the position of the V-belt tension pulley, and give ten-
sion to the V-belt.
(See [MS-4: Replacing the V-Belt]:
REMOVAL: 2.)
7. Mount the frame cover.
(See [D-2: Mounting the Frame Covers].)
