[4] Checking the CDC Sensor
1. Replace the CDC sensor cable with a brandnew one.
A. Detach the CDC sensor cable from the CDC sensor set.
(Fig. 5)
B. Disconnect the 4P connector at the power supply board,
and disconnect the CDC sensor cable. (Fig. 6)
C. Connect the 4P connector of the new CDC sensor cable to
the connectors of both the CDC sensor set and the power
supply board. (Figs. 5 and 6)
2. Connect the 5P cable to the power supply board, and check
the voltage. (Fig. 7)
A. Turn on the power of the main unit.
B. Slowly move the pedal, while checking the voltage by using
a tester across Terminal 1 and Terminal 4 of the cable
connector (5P connector at the side of control unit
connection) of the 5P cable. (Fig. 8)
Terminal 1 is for plus (+) and Terminal 4 is for minus (-).
C. When the voltage frequently changes between approx. 5V
and 0V, the CDC sensor is all right.
[Judgment]
ⓦ
When the voltage is found to be correct, the CDC sensor
cable has been disconnected. In this case, you need to
take actions in the repair method (e) described at the right.
When the voltage is not correct, proceed to the procedures on the
next page.
(e) Replace the CDC sensor cable.
(See [ES-7: Replacing the CDC Sensor Cable].)
