19.1. Preventative maintenance
UNDERWATER HULL
Wherever you sail, it is essential to regularly apply antifouling paint to the underwater hull. This will protect
the hull from any marine growth such as algae or barnacles. Check that your propellers are always clean.
These factors can affect the performance of your boat. A dirty boat can lose 25% of its normal speed.
WARNING
Scrupulously respect the usage instructions of the products you are using.
The hull treatment for the BALI CATSPACE offered as an option by the yard comprises the following:

Degreasing and matting the surfaces
•
1 coat of primer
•
2 coats of antifouling
