How to Replace the Belt and Brushroll
1. Turn off and unplug vacuum cleaner.
2. With vacuum cleaner upside down, remove
four (4) screws (Fig. 1).

Always unplug the power cord from the
electrical outlet before performing any service
on the vacuum cleaner.
10. Turn vacuum cleaner upside down, and
replace four (4) screws (Fig. 8).
3. Remove nozzle
cover by
placing vacuum
in upright
position. Grasp
rear of cover
and rotate
forward. Pull up
to release
(Fig. 2).
4. Remove
brushroll by
carefully
lifting out
(Fig. 3).
5. Remove and replace worn or broken belt.
6. Loop new
belt around
motor shaft
and brushroll
belt groove
(Fig. 4).
7. Reinstall the
brushroll into
the nozzle
by pulling
toward front
of nozzle and
sliding into
grooves
(Fig. 5).
8. Turn the brushroll by
hand to make sure
that the belt is not
twisted or pinched
and that all rotating
parts turn freely
(Fig. 6).
9. Replace
cover by
sliding 3 tabs
into place
and rotating
closed
(Fig. 7).
