CO, CO2 and O2 is entered the one displayed on the gas cylinder, but the HC value is entered the
N-Hexane value which is explained in 7-6. For example, HC value = the value is displayed on the
gas cylinder (propane HC value) x PEF value
.
If the HC value of the gas cylinder is 1002 ppm, multiply it by 0.5 of PEF value and the outcome
value of 501 ppm is gas calibration.
