When zero calibration is finished, it is automatically switched to standby mode.

Press the PURGE key one more time during the PURGE operation, and the PURGE
function is performed for 30 minutes.
After continuously using the exhaust gas of a vehicle for a long time, there may be
lots of
remaining gas in the probe and sample-cell. If the HC value indicates over 10 ppm after the zero
calibration, use this function.

This preparation process is for the next accurate measurement and for the protection of sample-cell
in the equipment. Therefore, after the continuous operation for a long time, please clean up the
inside of equipment by pressing the PURGE key.
