Power Connections
AC Power must be connected to the Audio and Digital Raw DC units. These units are
auto-sensing from 90-250 VAC. The Harting O/P Connectors on the rear panels carry
the Raw DC to similar INPUT connectors on the Filter Unit. The OUTPUT
connectors on the Filter Unit are connected to the Console by a similar, but longer, set
of cables. (All of these cables are shown in grey opposite.) Larger consoles use two
Audio Raw DC units; the drawing opposite shows the additional cabling required.
Due to the size of the Harting Han K connectors, ensure clear access to the rear of
the rack - a minimum clearance of 12” (305mm) is recommended.
Analogue Supplies
Analogue supplies are supplied in ‘Full’ and ‘Half’ capacities, depending upon the
size of the console. Cables for connecting the analogue supplies to the Filter Unit
AUDIO INPUT
connectors are available in two lengths (SSL Part Nos. 66C96201 -
2m, 66C96204 - 1m), and must be fitted as shown in the table below:

Two cables connect the Filter Unit AUDIO OUTPUT connectors to the console. These
cables are available in two standard lengths (SSL Part Nos. 66C96213 - 10m, 66C96212
- 15m). Longer lengths up to 20m are available at extra cost and must be specified at
the time of order.
Digital Supply
Digital supplies are also supplied in ‘Full’ and ‘Half’ capacities, depending upon the
size of the console. (‘Half’ digital supplies have only one O/P connector.) One or two
2m cables (SSL Part No. 66C96301) will be provided for connecting the supply to the
Filter Unit DIGITAL INPUT connector(s).
Two cables connect the Filter Unit DIGITAL OUTPUT connectors to the console.
These cables are available in two standard lengths (SSL Part Nos. 66C96313 - 10m,
66C96312 - 15m). Longer lengths up to 20m are available at extra cost and must be
specified at the time of order.
Raw DC Unit Fuse Selection and Replacement
The Raw DC units each have a single HRS fuse. Fuse replacement instructions will be
found in the SL 9000 J Service Manual. Fuse ratings and part numbers are as follows:
