To connect to the FiX1 using the automatically created Wi-Fi access point, open your Windows Wi-Fi connections
dialog.
The Wi-Fi access point SSID is the serial number of the FiX1. In the case above, this is 190737. Select the
appropriate entry in the list of Wi-Fi networks and click
Connect
to connect to the FiX1.
The Wi-Fi connections dialog requests a network security key.
Enter:
6065645028.
Click
Next
. Your PC connects to the FiX1.
Open your web browser and enter the address:
http://fix1.carlsonsw.com
The FiX1 login screen appears. Enter the default username and password. Click
LOGIN
to access the web
application.
Navigate to the
Network setup options
to configure the settings as required. After making any changes, click
Apply network settings
. As soon as the new settings are applied, the unit will reconfigure the network interfaces
and exit from recovery mode. If the newly configured settings still do not provide connectivity, the FiX1 returns to
the rescue mode after a few minutes.
