5.6 Auto
In AUTO mode the system autonomously manages cooling/heating switch over.
To set it, repeatedly press the MODE button until the AUTO symbol is displayed (fi g. 5.i).
This mode is only available with µC2SE confi gured as a heat pump or chiller with chiller with heating
function. It is not available with µC2, and in ‘process’ mode (Pr01=1 parameter). It is possible to set the
set point.
5.7 De-humidifi cation
De-humidifi cation, only available with µC
2
SE, is obtained by lowering the chiller temperature set point in
cooling mode.
Management of de-humidifi cation is carried by the µC
2
SE, it is therefore necessary to appropriately set
the parameters of the µChiller before starting up the plant (see the manual of the µChiller in use).
Automatic de-humidifi cation
It is available in the µAD models that have a humidity probe and is associated to the Hu02 parameter
(differential de-humidifi cation).
De-humidifi cation starts when the µAD detects humidity exceeding the threshold (humidity set point +
Hu02 differential) or however if it exceeds 85% rH. This request is only made if the µC
2
SE is already in
the COOLING mode. The display shows the DE-HUMIDIFY symbol (12) together with the COOLING
(10) or AUTO (11) symbols.
To completely deactivate the automatic de-humidifi cation function set the Hu02 function at 40 (upper
limit).
Manual de-humidifi cation
Set the En04=1 parameter, press the MODE key repeatedly until the DE-HUMIDIFY symbol (12) appears
on the display.
The function remains active until the MODE key is pressed again.
5.8 Humidifi cation
Prerequisites:
- µAD with humidity probe,
- µC
2
SE confi gured for the humidifi cation according to that indicated in the manual of the Micro Chiller
in use,
- plant especially prepared for humidifying.
Humidifi cation is
only automatic
and is associated to the Hu01 parameter (differential humidifi cation)
Humidifi cation starts when the µAD detects a percentage of humidity that is lower than the threshold
(humidity set point - Hu01 differential) or however if it falls below 5% rH. The display shows the HUMI-
DIFY symbol (13) (Fig 5.l).
To completely deactivate the automatic humidifi cation function, set the Hu01 parameter at 40 (upper
limit).
Note: if manual de-humidifi cation is active, humidifi cation cannot be activated.
5.9 Setting the humidity set point
- Press the HUM key: the current humidity set point display and the ‘rH%’ and ‘set’ symbols appear on
the display,
(see Fig 5.n)
- set the set point by pressing UP or DOWN,
- press the HUM key or wait 3 seconds to confi rm.
Note. The humidity set point can only be set if µAD has a humidity probe ,and the parameter
En03=0.
