5.3 Temperature set point
To set the temperature is it necessary to display ‘set’ (press UP or DOWN).
To change the set point press the UP or DOWN keys, then wait for 3 seconds without touching any key.
If the time periods are active, the modifi cation of the set point will only be operational until the time
period in progress expires (the memorised time period is not overwritten). Moreover, the indication of
the time period number ‘1’ or ‘2’ will be deactivated if the set point is different from that requested by
the time period itself.
The set point assumes different uses according to the functioning mode (see parameter Pr01, paragraph
5.1).
5.4 Cooling
1 Cooling with µC 2
• set the cooling mode on the front of the µC 2 .
• press the UP or DOWN keys of the µAD to display the temperature set point,
• set the desired temperature set point using the UP and DOWN keys: the value is memorised after 3
seconds from release of the UP and DOWN buttons and it becomes the current temperature set point.
2 Cooling with µC 2 SE
• press the MODE key to set the cooling mode,
• press the UP or DOWN keys of the µAD o display the temperature set point,
• set the desired temperature set point using the UP and DOWN keys: the value is memorised after 3
seconds from release of the UP and DOWN buttons and it becomes the current temperature set point.
Note. The cooling function (with µC 2 and µC 2 SE) varies according to the mode in use (‘process’ or
‘environment set point’, see parameter Pr01 and paragraph 5.1).
5.5 Heating
Only available if the µChiller is enabled for heating (see parameters of the µChiller H1).
1 Heating with µC 2
• set the heating mode on the front of the µC 2,
• press the UP or DOWN keys of the µAD to display the temperature set point,
• set the desired temperature set point using the UP and DOWN keys: the value is memorised after 3
seconds from release of the UP and DOWN buttons and it becomes the current temperature set point.
2 Heating with µC 2 SE
• press the MODE key to set the heating mode,
• press the UP or DOWN keys of the µAD to display the temperature set point,
• set the desired temperature set point using the UP and DOWN keys: the value is memorised after 3
seconds from release of the UP and DOWN buttons and it becomes the current temperature set point.
