µAD +030220465 - rel. 1.1 - 15.12.2010
4.2 Preliminary warnings
Before rendering the plant operational, the following must be checked:
-the serial address of the µChiller (parameter H10) must coincide with that of the µAD (parameter Ad01).
Recommended default value Ad01=1
- µAD is confi gured in default in ‘Set Environment’ functioning mode. In order to modify in ‘Process’ mode, set
parameter Pr01=1 of the µAD (see par. 6.3)
.

Never modify parameters during normal plant functioning.
4.3 Commissioning
Warnings.
• The plant must only be made operational after having performed the preliminary confi gurations (see
previous paragraph).
• If the alarm activated symbol appears on the display after start-up (20), identify the code that appears
on the display using the “Alarms Management” table (Paragraph 6.5)
• If the time and time period cannot be set, check that the parameter of the µAD En01=1.
• If communication with the µchiller is not established within 20 seconds, the “Och” alarm appears until
the communication is restored; in absence of communication, the user interface of the µAD is partially
disabled and it is only possible to change the confi guration parameters of the µAD itself.
Switch-on
• check that all the devices that make up the system are powered and switched-on;
• switch the system on by pressing the POWER button on the µAD: on switch-on the display shows
three horizontal dashes until the communication with µChiller is established.
Adjustment of the clock (only in models with RTC)
After commissioning “rtc” and the current time are displayed. Set the current time following the
indications in paragraph 5.12 (also if voltage is restored after an extended interruption).
