4.9.2 Installazione dei terminali da pannello (pCOI) e relativi
collegamenti elettrici
Questi terminali sono stati studiati per il montaggio a pannello, con
dima di foratura deve avere le dimensioni di 173x154 mm.
Per l’installazione seguire le istruzioni riportate di seguito;
1. asportare la cornice estetica a scatto;
2. inserire la parte plastica contenente display e schede
elettroniche sulla parete forata anteriore del pannello, facendo
attenzione che la guarnizione sul lembo inferiore del frontale
sia bene in appoggio con la parte anteriore del pannello;
3. praticare sul pannello 4 fori del diametro di 2,5 mm in
corrispondenza esatta con i fori presenti sullo strumento;
4. inserire le viti di fissaggio presenti in dotazione, scegliendo le viti
autofilettanti o automaschianti a seconda del materiale del pannello
(plastico o metallico).
Effettuare, quindi, i previsti collegamenti elettrici.
Per quanto riguarda le connessioni elettriche collegare il cavo telefonico
(cod. S90CONN00*) proveniente dalla scheda di potenza (cod.
PCO1****X0*) nell’apposita presa. Solo per il modello PCOI00PGL0
connettere l’alimentazione a 24 Vac (30 VA) alla morsettiera a vite. Se
viene utilizzato lo stesso trasformatore del pCO
XS
non è
necessario che G e G0 siano gli stessi tra pCO
XS
e il terminale in
quanto l’alimentazione è
isolata.
Nel caso in cui il G0 fosse
connesso a GND (ad
esempio attraverso la terra)
bisogna rispettare le
medesime polarità.
4.10 Installazione dell’EPROM di programma del terminale
con display grafico
Avvertenza: Prima di inserire/rimuovere la EPROM disalimentare il
terminale.
Per un corretto funzionamento del sistema, la EPROM deve essere
inserita nell’apposito zoccolo sulla scheda, facendo attenzione che la
tacca sulla superficie della EPROM
coincida con il riferimento
serigrafato sulla scheda.
Il programma può essere
memorizzato su due diversi tipi di
EPROM in funzione della sua
occupazione di memoria. La più
comunemente utilizzata nel caso del
terminale con display grafico, è quella
riportata in Tab. 4.10.1.

Tutte le informazioni relative alla gestione del display grafico (font, grafici
e simbologie varie da visualizzare) sono realizzate da un programma
applicativo contenuto in una EPROM. Per installare la EPROM togliere
la scheda schermo o la scheda stampante opzionale seriale (qualora
presente) svitando le relative viti; montare, quindi, la EPROM prestando
attenzione a quanto detto prima (riferimento to t.r. Fig. 4.10.1).
4.9.2 Installing the panel-mounted terminals (pCOI) and
corresponding electrical connections
These terminals have been designed for panel mounting; the drilling
template must measure 173x154 mm.
When installing, carefully observe to the following instructions;
1. remove the click-on frame;
2. insert the plastic part containing the display and electronic boards
on the drilled front part of the panel, making sure the gasket on the
lower edge of the front cover rests properly against the front part
of the panel;
3. make four 2.5mm diameter holes in the panel, in line with
the holes in the instrument;
4. insert the fastening screws supplied, choosing between self-tapping
and self-threading screws according to the type of material used for
the panel (plastic or metal).
Then perform the electrical connections.
The electrical connections are the following. Connect the telephone
cable (code S90CONN00* from the power board (code PCO1****X0)
into the corresponding jack. For model PCOI00PGL0 only, connect the
24Vac (30VA) power supply to the screw terminal block. If the same
transformer is used for the pCO
XS
, G and G0 do not need to be the
same on the pCO
XS
and the terminal, as the power supply is
insulated.
If G0 is connected to GND
(for example, via the earth
connection), the same
polarity must be followed
4.10 Installing the program EPROM on the terminal with
graphic display
Warning: Before inserting/removing the EPROM, disconnect the power
supply to the terminal.
For correct system operation, the EPROM has to be inserted in the
special socket on the board, making sure that the notch on the
surface of the EPROM lines up with
the reference notch
silk-screened on the board.
The program can be saved on two
different types of EPROM, according
to the memory requirements. The
more commonly used in the case of
the terminal with graphic display is
shown in Tab. 4.10.1.

All the information relating to the management of the graphic display
(fonts, graphs and various symbols displayed) are created by the
application software contained in the EPROM. To install the EPROM,
remove the shield or the optional serial printer card (if present), by
removing the screws; then mount the EPROM, as described above
(ref. t.r. Fig. 4.10.1).
