checked after exposure to signifi cant concentrations of gas, which may
shorten sensor life and/or reduce its sensitivity.
Response range and resolution
MDL is the lowest detected level of gas concentration. Values below
the MDL are displayed as zero. Values below zero or above the range
generate negative or positive saturation conditions, respectively. If the
gas level is below the negative concentration limit, the sensor signals
a fault.

Temperature compensation
The device adopts active temperature compensation for semiconductor
sensors. Infrared sensitive elements self-adjust for temperature.
The temperature compensation error is defi ned at the calibration
concentration.
