SHUTDOWN BUTTON
As the MAP2 contains a mini computer, a proper system shutdown is nesscessary to
prevent data corruption.
DO NOT simply unplug the power connector.
To shut
down follow this procedure:
1.
Press and hold (4 to 8 seconds) the SHDN button until the status STAT LED
near the SHDN button begins a rapid green ON/OFF flash then release the
pushbutton. The system will start a proper shutdown. This will take 15 to 20
seconds.
2.
Wait untill the status STAT LED (except power) and the reader LEDs are off
with a single beep from the controller then remove the power connector.
3.
If the shutdown does not occur, try the procedure again. If it still does not
respond correctly as described above, a system fault has occurred. It will be
necessary to unplug the power connector and re-insert it after 10 seconds.
IP ADDRESS RESET AND STATIC IP ADDRESS CONFIGURATION
Note
:
The new panel is factory set to acquire an IP address automatically (DHCP). If the IP
address has been changed to static address by an installer but now unknown or
forgotten and needs to be reset, follow the instructions below.
It’s highly suggested to leave it for DHCP mode. The controller will obtain
IP address automatically from the DHCP server
.
