Trouble s hooting

Invalid operation
- The following are not valid operation s and cannot be performed.
• In MEDIA mode, during playbac k , trying to add a s hot mar k to a frame that ha s one already.
• Trying to add an
$
mar k and a
%
mar k to the s ame clip.
• Pre ss ing the REC button when no card s are in s erted in the camera.
Low Power Warning Check the power s upply.
- The input power s upplied to the camera (DC IN terminal) ha s reached the level s et for the power level warning
(

196). Chec k the power s ource.
- The me ss age appear s every time you pre ss the REC button when the power s upply i s too low (a s de s cribed above).
Management file error
- Cannot record becau s e the camera cannot write to the file control information. Thi s may occur if the file s on the card
were acce ss ed u s ing another device. S ave your recording s and initialize the card (
A
32).
May not be po ss ible to record clip s on thi s media
- The card u s ed doe s not meet the camera' s requirement s . U s e a recommended card (

31).
Media full
- The card i s full. Replace the card or delete recording s (

• During proxy recording, the s pace available on card A (primary clip s ) i s low. Otherwi s e, when recording only on card
B (proxy clip s ), the s pace available on card B i s low.
• During audio recording, the s pace available on card A (primary clip s ) i s low. Otherwi s e, when recording on card B
(audio recording), the s pace available on card B i s low.
• During continuou s recording, the s pace available on card B (continuou s ) i s low.
Memory card i s write-protected
- The LOCK s witch on the S D card i s s et to prevent accidental era s ure. Change the po s ition of the LOCK s witch.
No clip s
- There are no clip s of the s elected video format on the s elected card.
No photo s
- There are no photo s on the S D card.
No WAV file s
- There are no WAV file s s aved on the S D card. Playbac k i s po ss ible once WAV file s have been recorded.
Number of clip s already at maximum
- The card s elected for recording already contain s the maximum number of clip s (999 clip s ). Replace the card or u s e the
card in the other card s lot.
- Becau s e both card s reached the maximum number of clip s , double s lot recording i s not available.
Number of Shot Mark s at maximum
- The s hot mar k could not be added becau s e the clip already contain s 100 s hot mar ks .
Recommend checking the data and initializing
- The card cannot be u s ed for any of the following rea s on s . S ave your recording s and initialize the card (
A
32).
• A problem ha s occurred with the card.
• The camera cannot read the data on the card.
• The card wa
s initialized u s ing a computer.
• The card i s partitioned.
Recorded at 50.00 Hz/59.94 Hz Recommend checking the data and initializing
- The card contain s clip s that were recorded u s ing a s y s tem frequency different from the one currently u s ed by the
camera. To record on thi s card, s ave your recording s and initialize the card with the camera (

32). To play bac k the
XF-AVC clip s recorded on the card, change the camera' s s y s tem frequency (
A
53) to match the recording s on the
card.
