You may need to clean some of the printer’s internal parts. To clean the inside of 
the printer, follow the procedure below.

Load several sheets of letter-size or A4 plain paper into the printer’s paper 
feeder.

2

Press and hold the RESUME/CANCEL button until the POWER lamp 
flashes three times, then release the button.

3

Repeat this operation until there are no more smudges on the test page.
