When the screen shown on the right appears,
remove the USB cable, and click
Finish
.
The network connection between the machine and
the computer is now successfully established.
To confirm the setup results, click
View Setup
Results
.
To change the port name, click
Set Port Name
on
the
Setup Results
dialog box. For details, see
“Changing the port name” on page 73.

When the
User Registration
screen
appears, click
Register
.
If your computer is already connected to the
Internet, your Internet browser will start
automatically to display the Product Registration
page on Canon’s website. Follow the on-screen
instructions to do user and product registration.

Next
on the
User Registration
screen.

When the screen shown on the right appears,
click
Exit
.

If “Unsafe Removal of Device” is displayed, click
OK
.

You can register whenever you like at a later date
by double-clicking the
Canon MP600R User
Registration
icon on the desktop.

When a message asking for your confirmation to
restart your computer appears on the screen, click
OK
.

is displayed, make sure that the
Restart the
system now (recommended)
check box is selected,
then click
Restart
.
