On Firewall Function
A firewall function is a system that prevents unauthorized access to a local network from the outside.
When setting up the machine to be used over a network, disable the firewall function of your security
software during the setup. Any firewall function provided by security software may prevent proper
setup or communication over a network.

If you disable a firewall function, disconnect your network from the Internet. To do this, configure your
access point or router not to connect to the Internet or WAN.

For information on the firewall function of your security software, refer to its instruction manual or
contact its manufacturer.
