Troubleshooting
If you have a problem with your camcorder, refer to this checklist. Consult your dealer
or a Canon Service Center if the problem persists.

Turn on the camcorder.
Replace or charge the

Open the cassette
compartment cover fully.
Replace or charge the

Consult a Canon Service
Center.
Replace or charge the
battery pack.
Charge the battery pack in
temperatures between 32 ºF
and 104 ºF (0 ºC and 40 ºC).
Wait until the battery pack
temperature is below 104 ˚F
(40 ˚C) and retry charging.
Use a different battery pack.
Camcorder will not turn
on.
