How to Use the MultiPASS Toolbar
The Canon MultiPASS Suite is a software program that provides tools for quickly
accessing and using many of the features of your F50 MFP. With the MultiPASS
Toolbar, your F50 MFP is fully integrated with your PC as a printer, copier, scanner
and fax.
Documents scanned through the MultiPASS Toolbar can be saved, edited, faxed or
emailed. You can also customize the settings for the different toolbar features.
The MultiPASS Toolbar icons provide quick access to a number of scanning
operations.
FFa ax x scans a document and sends it as a fax.
M Ma aiill scans an image and attaches it to an email.
S Sa av ve e scans an image and saves it as a file which can later be viewed,
edited, printed or sent as a fax or email.
P Ph ho otto o scans an image, and sends it to an image processing application.
M My y M Mu ullttiiP PA AS SS S accesses the My MultiPASS folders, from which saved
files can be viewed, edited, printed or sent as a fax or email.
S Se ettttiin ng gs s allows editing of MultiPASS Toolbar settings.
Getting Help for the Toolbar
Online help is available for the toolbar.
To access online help from the toolbar:
• Click the icon on the toolbar, or
• Right-click any screen area of the window to access the W Wh ha att’’s s T Th hiis s??
help description for that area,
or
• Click the key in the upper right corner, then click the feature you
want to know more about.
