■ Paper Width Detection

Detection of paper width is performed to prevent temperature increase at the edge of the Fixing Heater.
Width and position of paper being fed are detected by the Paper Width Sensor 1 and 2 (PS106/PS108).
If the paper width detected by the Paper Width Sensors did not match the paper size set with the Cassette Size Switch, "Check
paper size" is displayed on the Control Panel.
