4. Disassembly and Assembly
The machine’s mechanical characteristics and features are as described herein, and the
machine may be disassembled or assembled as instructed while keeping the following in
mind:
1.
The power plug must be disconnected for the work.
2. Unless otherwise indicated, the machine may be assembled by reversing the steps used
to disassemble it.
3. The screws must be identified by type (length, diameter) and location.
4. The mounting screw of the grounding wire and the varistors is equipped with a toothed
washer to ensure electrical continuity. They must not be left out when fitting the screws.
5. As a rule, the machine must not be operated with any of its parts removed.
6. The front cover switch or the main power switch must be turned off before sliding out
the duplex unit or the fixing/feeding unit.
7.
Toner must not be thrown away into fire to avoid explosion.
