1. 35 mm Film

Follow the procedures below to place 35 mm negative film or unmounted 35 mm positive film (unmounted slide
film) into the film holder for scanning.

 Slide the guide toward the end of the film holder marked with an “R”.

 Open the film holder.

Open the film holder by gently twisting the tabs on the end and pulling up as shown.

 Place the film into the holder.

Place the film holder so that the letter ‘R’ is facing upward. Place the film with the top surface upward so
that images and words are viewed from above with the correct perspective.

SUGGESTION:

• The driver software can correct the orientation of a scanned image even if the film has been reversed

or inverted.
