Press and release the button on Paper Drawer 1.
If the optional Paper Deck-AD1 or Paper Deck-AE1 is attached to the main unit,
press the release button, and move the paper deck away from the main unit
before proceeding with this procedure. For more information, see Chapter 3,
"Optional Equipment," in the
Reference Guide .

Grip the handle, and pull out the paper drawer until it stops.
If the paper drawer seems to be stuck, do not pull it out by force. Push it back
into the machine, press the release button again, and then pull it back out.

Remove any jammed paper.
