Place the inner conductor into the cone shape on the other side of the universal stripping tool. Rotate the tool
to apply a small chamfer to the copper edge. The tip of the inner conductor should have no burs of copper to
foul the connector.
The connector comes in two parts, the upper body and lower body.
Slide the prepared cable into the connector lower body.
This photo shows the lower body before it is clicked into final position.
Press the lower body down onto the cable until it clicks into position.
Insert the inner conductor into the flaring tool. The correct hole is labeled as
½”
