Section 5 ‒ Database Configuration

The MultiLogger Suite includes MLWeb

, a browser-based tool for data reduction. The following sections detail

viewing the imported TDR data and the presentation of that data through charts.

See the

MLWeb User's Guide

for more information on the use of MLWeb. In particular:

Chapter 12

for details on working with and configuring TDR Charts.

Chapter 16

for details on applying Output Alarms to TDR's.

Chapter 19

 and

Appendix A.5

for details on non-automated TDR imports.

5.1 Viewing Data

Data is imported automatically into MLWeb when MultiLogger is configured appropriately.

Within MLWeb, the folder containing the TDR data appears in the Database Tree, and is named after the
Datalogger ID by default. Within this folder, each TDR channel is represented by an Instrument node.

The example below shows Datalogger ID 101:

(A multi-cable TDR in the MLWeb Database Tree, with an Instrument node representing each channel)

The naming convention of the Channels is

TDR

, followed by the

Instrument ID

, followed by the channel

number. If only a single cable is attached to the TDR200, then only one Instrument node is created, and its
channel number assigned is 1. Additionally, the

Battery_Volts

 and

Panel_Temp

 Data Elements display

immediately in the folder.

Note

‒ Do not rename the TDR record. Otherwise, at the next import, another record will be created for this TDR.
