Use a 4-stroke SAE engine oil meeting
or exceeding the following lubricant
industry specifications.
Always check the API service label
certification on the oil container, it must
contain at least one of the indicated
standards.

1. Park vehicle on a level surface.
2. Let engine cool down.
3. Visually inspect engine area for
leaks.

4. Clean dipstick area.
5. Unscrew dipstick then remove it
and wipe clean.
6. Reinstall dipstick (do not screw it
in).
7. Remove and check oil level. It
should be near or equal to the
upper mark.

8. To add oil, remove dipstick.
1. Place a funnel into the dipstick
tube to avoid spillage.
2. Add a small amount of recom-
mended oil and recheck oil
level.
3. Repeat the operation until oil
level reaches the dipstick's full
mark.
