MC-III™ Panel Mount Flow Analyzer Section 2
Field Wiring Connections
All field wiring connects to the circuit assembly mounted on the back side of the switchplate.
Wiring Procedure
To wire the MC-III Panel Mount for operation, complete the following field connections:
1. Connect the lithium battery connector to the J1 receptacle on the circuit assembly.
2.
Connect wiring for external power, if appropriate. See
Figure 2.2, page 18
.
3. Connect the flow meter or pulse input wiring to terminal block TB1. See Figure 2.3 or Figure 2.4, page
19.
4. Connect wiring for the remote reset input to terminal block TB1, if appropriate. See
Figure 2.5
or
Figure
2.6, page 20.
5. Connect wiring for output signals, if appropriate. See Figure 2.7, page 21, through Figure 2.12, page
24 .
6. Recalibrate the MC-III Panel Mount (if necessary).
7. If external and internal power supplies were removed, reset the clock to ensure that the time stamps in the
log data are accurate. The clock is reset using the MC-III interface software. See Time/Date Synchroniza-
tion, page 52
