Surge suppressors should be installed on any cables where they 
enter a building to reduce the possibility of overvoltages or 
overcurrents damaging any equipment in the building. 
The following equipment, mounted outside of a communications hut 
or building at the point where the cables penetrate the building, is 
recommended: 

◦  Cambium 600SS surge suppressors for Ethernet cables 
◦  Cambium 200SS surge suppressors for DC cables 
◦  A PolyPhaser DGXZ+06NFNF-A surge suppressor for the coaxial
