UDP Terminal
The User Datagram Protocol is a connectionless protocol with less overhead than TCP.
Unlike TCP, UDP does NOT guarantee delivery or delivery in order.
When set to UDP Terminal, activity on the Serial Port interface will instantly encapsulate the data into a
UDP datagram and send to the Host or UDP Terminal specified by the Remote IP address and Remote
Port number in the configuration.
Likewise, the UDP Terminal will “listen” for UDP datagrams on the specified Port number. This means a
Host may also send UDP datagrams to the Radio IP and Local Port without any prior handshaking to
