8. TROUBLESHOOTING

Repair or replace the cylinder.
May only be done by a qualified service

Impossible to
open/close the
arms
Oil leak
Check the connections.
Replace or repair the pump/valve. Replace
the seals.
Air in the hydraulic system
Bleed the air from the system, run the
cylinders through several cycles.
See chapter 5.3.1.
Not enough space for the hydraulic
connection to move freely.
Prevent blockage of the hydraulic system,
connect the hydraulic system as indicated
Incorrect mounting of the hydraulic
connection
Check if the hydraulic system is
connected to the hydraulic hoses.
See chapter ‘5. Assembly and installation’.
Hydraulic pressure is too low or incorrect
flow rate from the lifting device
Make sure you use the correct oil pressure.
Read the instructions in the manual of
your lifting device.
Worn bearings
Replace the bearings. See spare parts list
attached for the correct reference.
Dirt in the hydraulic oil
In case of dirt in the hydraulic system, it is
necessary to change the oil completely.
It is forbidden to change the hydraulic oil
yourself.
May only be carried out by a qualified
service technician and according to the
manufacturer’s instructions.
