Maintenance instructions
In the event of problems or if operations are to be undertaken that are not specifically
described in this manual, consult CAM attachments or the retailer.
1. Daily maintenance check
A daily check of the bale gripper can limit wear to a minimum:
• Make sure that the instruction manual is complete, legible, and available for reference.
• Check the entire machine for damage, corrosion or cracks in structural components before each
use.
Can be done by the user.
2. Check the locks
Check upper and lower locks of the attachment hook.
Can be done by the user.
3. Springs (bale gripper – round bales)
Check the intergrity of the springs and change them if damaged.
Also check the integrity of the bearings and change them if worn.
Can be done by the user.
4. Check the piston seals
Check the wear of the piston seals and replace them if necessary.
Can be done by the user.
5. Cleaning
Only clean the equipment with a cloth dampened in a soap solution (REF 131TA5500)* or TotalSource
wipes (REF 147TA3378). Do not use solvents, petrol, strong detergents etc.
If the equipment is heavily soiled, the use of a pressure cleaner is only permitted providing that it is set
to a maximum of 200 bar.
When you use a high-pressure cleaner, do not direct the jet onto the bearings and seals, otherwise the
grease will be washed out and the lifespan of the machine will be shortened.
Never use sandpaper or abrasive material on the bale gripper.
Can be done by the user.
