2.1.1 Resistors
Start with placing and soldering all resistors on the board. Figure 2 Resistors
on the power supply PCB displays all resistors and their purposes.

Place and solder them standing up (vertically).
R4, R5
Voltage divider
network
R4, R5 and C5 forms a voltage divider network
which is used as a reference point to raise the
12VDC heater filament
R6
Bleeder (see
note)
Do not populate R6.
R6 is there to enable you to add a bleeder
resistor as an alternative to the voltage divider
network (R4, R5 and C5 forms a voltage divider
network which is used to raise the 12VDC heater
filament).
Since we will be using the voltage divider
network, we no longer need to populate R6.

Please use a wirelink for R7.
