To connect the reader, press simultaneously the
up
and the
down
button of the reader for about ten seconds.
The “No device connected” box will turn into “Detected 1 device” and informs you that the reader is correctly
connected to the upgrade program:

Select the FW image file by clicking on the “Browse” button:

Click on the “Upgrade Firmware” button and wait for the upgrade process to be completed. In the window you
will see the message “Status: upgrading”.

At the end of procedure, if the upgrade has been successfully performed, you will see the message “Status:
ready”:
