Programmable functions
Several of the systems in your car can be
customised to better suit your individual
needs.
We recommend that you contact an author-
ised Cadillac workshop.
Central locking system
Some functions are governed by legal
requirements and cannot therefore be
reprogrammed.
We recommend that you contact an author-
ised Cadillac workshop for information.
Listed below are a number of examples of
programmable functions.
• Audible conformation for
locking/unlocking.
• Standard TSL operation:
The TSL function is automatically acti-
vated when the car is locked with one
press of the
button on the remote
control (doors cannot be opened from
inside).
Reprogrammed TSL operation:
The TSL function is activated by pressing
the button twice within 5 seconds.
Pressing the button once locks the car
without TSL (doors can be opened from
inside).
• Automatic unlocking when car stopped
and remote control removed from the igni-
tion switch.
• Boot lid locked when car driven off
or 30 seconds after being shut.
• The length and sound of audible confir-
mation can be altered.
• You can choose whether boot lid unlocks
when doors unlocked.
Follow-me-home
• You can choose the length of time the
lights are on.
• You can choose whether the reversing
light or tail lights should come on as well
as the dipped beam.
Car alarm

Listed below are a number of examples of
programmable functions.
• Cabin lighting switched on when the car
alarm is tripped.
• You can choose whether the Audible
signal is produced by horn or car alarm
siren.
• The panic function is also available as an
option on cars without a car alarm.
Automatic climate control (ACC)

• To increase the flow of air to the panel
and floor vents, the defroster vents can
be deselected (may desirable in hot
climates).
