CL.FWS CONTROL UNIT
1) DESCRIPTION
The CL.FWS control unit is able to control 1 electro-mechanical tubular motor for sun shade curtains and
rolling shutters.
The control unit incorporates the functions for sun control and protection is case of excessive wind or rain.
2) ACCESSORIES
The control unit can be equipped with the following accessories:
CL.WL:
combined sensor: wind and light.
CL.WLR:
combined sensor: wind, light and rain.
RR.FWS:
extractable radio receiver, 433.92 MHz.
T4WV-C:
4-channel, rolling code transmitter (
DO NOT USE T2WV-C
).

4) SENSOR MANAGEMENT
If the control unit is connected with sensors for the management of weather agents, the system works as
follows:
Wind sensor:
connect the sensor (anemometer) to the preset input (see diagram) and set the desired wind
speed by using the TR2 trimmer (see section “TRIMMER FUNCTIONS”).
During the entire period of wind alarm and the following 8 minutes, the curtain cannot be operated by means
of the push-buttons. When this time has elapsed, the controls are reset automatically.
Rain sensor:
when the rain sensor triggers, a closing control signal (see SW2) is sent and remains activated
for 8 minutes, thus excluding any other command.
Sun sensor:
the sensor checks the light present and, if the preset threshold is overcome, through TR1
trimmer (see section “trimmer function”), a period of 2 minutes should elapse before the control unit sends
an opening control signal of the sun shade curtain. The reverse procedure is carried out when the detected
light goes under the preset threshold (in this case, after 15 minutes, a closing control signal is sent of the
sun shade curtain).
Both thresholds should be kept for the entire time necessary to control the movement.
