Procedure
1. Open the cover of the DC connection port.
•
The overall cable length between the module and inverters
should be approximately the same.

and Router

The cable length and quality affect the quality of the signal. Observe the following cable
requirements.

Cable category: Cat5, Cat5e or higher
•
Plug type: Metal
Shielded RJ45 of Cat5, Cat5e or higher
•
Shielding: Yes
•
UV-resistant for outdoor use
•
Straight-
through wired cables
•
Maximum cable length:
20 m.
Procedure:
1. Plug the RJ45 connector to the
“Ethernet”
port of BMU.
2. Plug the RJ45 connector at the other side of the cable to a router port.
Note:
Connecting to the Internet is not compulsory
but highly
recommended.
