Filtration cycle
This parameter allows the user to program the start stop frequency of the two-speed pump to ensure
correct filtration of the spa water (AUTO mode).
There are 4 values to choose from:
•
every hour ;
•
every two hours ;
•
every three hours ;
•
every four hours.
Filtration time
This parameter determines the % time that the two-speed pump will run to ensure filtration. Allowed values
are between 0% and 50%, however for simplicity the filtration time is set in minutes per hour, that is
between 0 (=0%) and 30 (=50%) minutes.
Both parameters together determine the rhythm at which the filtration pump will operate.
Example 1:
The filtration cycle is set to 'every hour' and the filtration time is set to '10 minutes': If no heating demand
causes the pump to start, it will remain off for 60 minutes - 10 minutes = 50 minutes. The pump will then
run for 10 minutes and then shut down again for 50 minutes, and so on.
Example 2:
The filtration cycle is set to 'every two hours' and the filtration time is set to '10 minutes': If no heating
demand causes the pump to start, it will remain off for 120 minutes - 2 x 10 minutes = 100 minutes. The
pump will then run for 2 x 10 minutes and shut down for 100 minutes, and so on.
Nota bene :
The pump can run between 2 filtration cycles if there is a heating demand.
